Boyne ends the book with: "And that's the end of the story about Bruno and his family. Of course all this happened a long time ago and nothing like that could ever happen again. Not in this day and age."
What do you think?

Everyone knows now that what Hitler and the Nazis was a horrible thing to do, and I don't think that anyone would try to do that again.
ReplyDeleteYeah, i don't think that anything like that could ever happen again.
ReplyDeleteEveryone realized how wrong this was. This book showed it. The big strong Nazi was sad and realized that he pretty much killed his son. This was his way of saying that people realized what they were doing was terrible before he came out and said it at the end.
ReplyDeleteI know nothing like this could ever happen again, because everyone is educated on how bad it was and nobody would want to have another holocaust again.
ReplyDeletei think that the author meant that modern society has seen the atrocities that the nazi party committed and they won't let history repeat itself
ReplyDeletei dont think it would ever happen again cuz we have OBAMA. haha not jk its definitely not obama.
ReplyDeleteOf coarse that's true. There are still idiots out there called neo-nazis that think Hitler was right, but nobody will ever listen to them, cause everybody knows that Hitler was a dumb midget.

ReplyDeleteLike he said, in this day in age nothing would ever happen like that again, and if anything like it ever appeared again other countries would definitely put a stop to it.
ReplyDeletei believe that if someone could convince people that bad things were good just like hitler did and no one stopped it could happen again
ReplyDeleteIt says that this issomething that we said could never happen again... Not in this day and age. But it is. In third world countries. Discrimination and prejudice still rule our world. Whether it be politics or possessions or religion or money. We are still prejudice. When it will go to that extreme is a mystery. Hopefully, never. But we can't determine what our future generations will be like. Not in this day and age.
